Andrew Darney-Lane is one of the Analysts who helps deliver the high-quality actionable intelligence our Partners have come to expect.

Having studied in Geography and GIS at California State University, San Bernadino, Andrew understands the importance of precision and hones in when adding contextualization for detected events. His eye for detail has made him an invaluable member of DataCapable’s Watch Center team for over two years.

“I feel that knowing exactly where these incidents or events are occurring is very important to the Partners we work with.” said Andrew. “Providing our real-time intelligence helps them increase their safety.”

In his position, Andrew has a key role in helping our Partners understand the circumstances surrounding high-impact events detected in our Watch Center. By further contextualizing detected events, Andrew helps Partners maintain situational awareness from the moment an event occurs until it’s no longer impacting them.

“The most rewarding part about being a member of the DataCapable team is knowing that the intelligence I provide to our customers is meaningful,” he said. “[By helping them maintain situational awareness], I help them create safer conditions.”

When he’s not focused on delivering the most helpful intelligence to increase safety, Andrew enjoys volunteering in his community, helping clean local rivers, or “anything to create a clean and safe environment.”
